We all know that Japanese usually has a rather small eyes, or at least back in ancient time. But now, it’s the opposite. If you see Japanese chicks around, they have big cute eyes. Is that a revolution in gene? That’s just a make up trick. I’m revealing the secret of their eye makeup.
What you need to prepare:
- Foundation (match your face skin tone)
- black mascara
- liquid eyeliner (if you have small eyes, apply lighter color. Darker or black eye liner does the opposite work)
- multicolor eyes shadow
Steps:
- Pat a light foundation around the eye’s area for easier eye shadow application.
- Curl the eye lashes.
- Apply mascara to both upper and lower lashes.
- Apply extra coat at the outer lashes to make them more stand out.
- For more dramatic look, apply liquid eyeliner carefully to both upper and lower lids. The line is slightly slanted upward ar the outer corner and downward at the inner corner (almond shape).
- You can use any color of eyeshadow, the trick is contrasting color between the eyes and the eye shadow. General tip: use a slightly darker color than the lid’s.
- Use lighter color of eye shadow and dust it under the eyebrow to highlight the eyes.
- Make the color to flow naturally toward the edge.
Tip: You can add colored contact lenses to make your eyes even more sparkled.
